How to Bring an Old Chisel back to Life

I recently finished these illustrations for an article about sharpening chisels written by Paul Anthony published in the latest Woodcraft Magazine. I used a combination of hand rendered drawings in Photoshop using the Wacom Cintiq and Adobe Illustrator for the satellite drawings. I faked the macro photos of the back of the chisel using images of old metal and layer effects in Photoshop.
